Wusta Privacy Policy

Effective date: 26 September 2026

Last updated: 26 September 2026

This policy explains what information Wusta collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@wusta.app.

Draft. This page hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change before Wusta opens to the public.

1. Who we are

Wusta is run by Felicity Capital Limited Liability Company, a Wyoming limited liability company. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means anyone who uses the service. Our contact details are in section 14.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the Wusta app, our website at https://wusta.app, and any other page that links to this policy. Together we call these "the service".

Wusta is a marketplace for businesses. Real estate investors post renovation work on properties they own or manage. Contractors and other trade professionals offer to do that work. The investor chooses who to hire. The service is for people in the United States who are 18 or older and are using it for business.

Wusta is new. The iPhone app is not released yet. We are testing it with a small group of people. Many features described in this policy are still being built. We say so where that is the case.

3. The information we collect

3.1 Information you give us in the app

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password, your mobile phone number, your first and last name, and your role, such as contractor or investor. We also ask whether you work on your own or with a company, and if with a company, its name and your position there. Your password is stored by our sign-in provider in a scrambled form. We can't see it.

If you are a contractor, we collect the trades you do, how far you are willing to travel for work, and any trade license or certificate of insurance you choose to send us. That includes the license or policy number, the expiry date, and the photo or file of the document. If you add people to your team, we collect their name, mobile number and role in your business. Please only add people who have agreed to be added.

If you are an investor, we collect your company name if you give it, and the area where your property is. When job posting is available, we will also collect the work you want done and information about the property and its location.

3.2 Information collected automatically by the app

When you sign in, the app stores a sign-in token on your device so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it.

Our hosting and sign-in providers keep technical logs when the app talks to their servers. These can include your IP address, your type of device, and the time of the request. We use them to keep the service running and secure.

The app uses your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a document, and only after your device asks your permission. We receive only the photo or file you pick.

If you test the app through Apple's TestFlight, Apple shares some information with us. This can include your name and email address if we invited you by email, your device model and system version, crash reports, how often you use the app, and any screenshots and comments you send as feedback. Apple explains this in its own TestFlight privacy notice.

3.3 Our website

Our website, wusta.app, is a set of simple pages. It has no forms, no sign-in, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking tools. The only way to contact us from the website is by email.

Netlify, the company that hosts the website, keeps standard server logs when you visit. These include your IP address, your browser type, the pages you asked for, and the time. They are used to deliver the website and keep it secure.

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, and whatever you write.

3.4 Information from other sources

If you choose "Continue with Google", Google tells us your name and email address so we can create your account. Google may also send the web address of your profile picture. We don't receive your Google password, and we don't ask for access to anything else in your Google account, such as your contacts, files or calendar. We use information from Google only to create your account, sign you in and show your name in the app. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

When "Sign in with Apple" is available, Apple will tell us your name and email address if you choose to share them. Apple lets you hide your real email address. If you do, we receive a private address that forwards to you.

If we add any other way to sign in, such as Facebook, we will update this policy first.

A contractor may give us the name and mobile number of someone they want to add to their team.

In the future, we may check some of what you tell us, such as a license number or a company name, against public records like state licensing boards or business registers. We will update this policy before we start.

3.5 What we don't collect

We don't collect Social Security numbers, tax ID numbers, W-9 forms, bank or card details, driver's licenses or other ID documents, or background checks. We don't collect your precise location. Payments are not part of the service. If any of this changes, we will update this policy before we collect anything new.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to run your account. That means creating it, signing you in, confirming your email address and phone number, and resetting your password.

We use it to run the marketplace, for example to show contractors work that matches their trades and area, and to show investors the contractors who respond.

We use it to keep the service safe, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

We use it to talk to you about your account and the service, and to answer your questions.

We use it to meet our legal duties, respond to lawful requests, and deal with legal claims.

We use what we learn from how the service works, and from your feedback, to improve it.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't use it for targeted advertising. We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites. We don't use analytics tools that follow what you do in the app. If we add one, we will update this policy first.

5. Who sees your information

5.1 Other users

While we test, other users can't see your profile or the documents you send us.

Wusta works by showing some information to the people you might work with. When features that do this open, they will show what investors and contractors need to decide whether to work together. For a contractor, that may include your name or business name, your trades, the area you work in, and documents you choose to share. For an investor, that may include the work you post, your name or company name, and the general area of the property. Before those features open, we will update this policy and show you in the app what other users can see.

We won't show your email address or phone number to other users without telling you first in the app.

5.2 Companies that help us run the service

We use other companies to run parts of the service. They may use your information only to do that work for us.

Supabase hosts our database, our sign-in system and the files you upload. It also sends our account emails, such as email confirmations and password resets.

Google provides "Continue with Google" sign-in. Google also runs our email through Google Workspace, including messages you send to hello@wusta.app.

Netlify hosts our website.

Apple provides TestFlight and the App Store, which we use to give you the iPhone app, and will provide "Sign in with Apple".

We plan to use Twilio to send text-message codes and Resend to send account emails. Neither is switched on yet.

We will update this list before we add a company that handles your personal information.

5.3 Other times we share information

We share information when the law requires it, or to respond to a valid legal request such as a subpoena or court order.

We share information when we believe in good faith that it is needed to prevent fraud, harm to someone, or a serious threat to safety or security.

If we are involved in a merger, sale or similar change, your information may pass to the new owner. The new owner must protect it under this policy or tell you what changes.

We share information when you ask us to or agree to it.

6. Text messages

We don't send text messages yet. When we switch them on, we will use them only to send one-time codes that confirm your phone number is yours, and messages about your account's security. We will update this policy before we send any other kind of text.

You get a code only when you ask for one or take a step that needs one. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. We will send one message confirming you have stopped. If you stop texts, we can't send you phone confirmation codes. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@wusta.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We don't send marketing texts unless you have separately agreed to them. We don't share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing. We share your mobile number only with the companies that deliver our texts.

7. Email

We send emails about your account, such as confirming your email address and resetting your password. These are part of the service. If we ever send marketing emails, each one will have a way to unsubscribe.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. We may also keep it where we need to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or enforce our agreements. After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

If you ask us to delete your account, we will do so as described in section 11.

Deleted information may remain in our hosting providers' backups for a limited time until it is overwritten. Technical logs are kept by our hosting providers for the limited time they set.

9. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. For example, information travels between the app and our servers over encrypted connections, and documents you upload are kept in private storage, not on the public web.

No system is completely secure, and we can't promise that your information will never be accessed without permission. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.

10. Where your information is stored and accessed

The service is meant for people in the United States. Your information is stored with our hosting providers, which may keep it in the United States or in other countries.

The people who run Felicity Capital Limited Liability Company live in Egypt. That means we may access and manage your information from Egypt. People who work for us in the future may access it from other countries too. Privacy laws in those countries may be different from the laws where you live. Wherever we access your information from, we protect it as this policy describes.

11. Your choices and rights

You can see and correct much of your information in the app. For anything else, email us.

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

You can ask us to delete your account and your personal information. The app doesn't have a delete button yet, so please email hello@wusta.app from the email address on your account. We will delete your account, including the documents you uploaded, within 30 days of confirming your request, and tell you when it is done. We may keep some information where the law requires or allows it, for example to handle a dispute or prevent fraud. If we do, we will tell you.

You can turn off camera or photo access in your device's settings at any time.

You can withdraw your agreement to anything you agreed to, such as texts, at any time. Some features won't work without the information they need.

You can remove our access to your Google or Apple account in your Google or Apple settings. If that was your only way to sign in, email us first so you don't lose access to your account.

To make a request, email hello@wusta.app. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act, usually by asking you to write from the email address on your account. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why within those 45 days.

Some US states give their residents specific privacy rights, such as the right to know, correct, delete or get a copy of their personal information. Whether those laws apply depends on where you live and on the size and type of our business. We will respond to requests like these from any user, wherever you live. If we turn down a request, we will tell you why, and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our answer. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

We don't sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, as those terms are used in California and other state privacy laws.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for responding to it. We don't track you across other websites, so we treat everyone the same whether or not the signal is on.

12. Children

The service is for adults using it for business. It is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
